Duan Shuqi, Mu Jinqiao, Wang Jianhui: "Orthodox Dai Family Xinyiquan" set of VCDs: | ||
Item XYD1-11 |
Dai Family Xinyiquan is one of the rarest and secret
branches of Mind and Intent Boxing. Created by Dai Longbang in 18th
century the system was originally passed only within the family, but in
early 20th century Dai Kui and Dai Hongxun began to teach students from
outside. Because of strict rules regulating the teaching process and very
conservative attitude of its practitioners the style is still hardly known
outside of Shanxi Province. Dai Family Xinyiquan is often considered the
mother style for Hebei and Shanxi Xingyiquan. The system is famous for its
focus on Iinternal Skill (Neigong) and Dantian development This is
the very first set of VCDs not only showing but also explaining in great
detail - many unique - and so far considered secret - practice methods of
the system as well as its main techniques - Five Elements Fists, Ten
(Animal) Shapes, routines, weapons and applications. Techniques are shown
from different angles, explained in a step-by-step, easy-to-follow way
with stress on the way the body, hands and steps move and their
coordination. The release of this set of VCDs can be considered a
milestone in revealing the methods of this rare style. Mr Dun Shuqi is son
of Duan Xian and grand-disciple of Dai Hongxun. Click

Xingyi practiced in north-eastern China. Unlike the orthodox system

expansion of the body typical to Dai Family Xinyi. All movements are shown

instructions. The set is demonstrated by Xiao Jiaping, disciple of Chen
Mingjie and inheritor of the style, vice-president of Shenyang Martial

|
This is first VCD set ever produced focusing on rare style of Dai Family Xinyiquan. The style puts great emphasis on the development of internal strength of Dantian - which is accomplished through practice of a special set of internal methods.
