| Yan Xuefeng: "Buddha Fist" set of VCDs: | ||
|
Items BF1-5 |
The style, also called "Fo Han Boxing", has its origins in the Shaolin Temple in Songshan Mountains. Buddha Fist Boxing was created over the years by many generations of "warrior-monks" and secretly preserved within their circles; it began to be taught to outsiders in 18th century after Shaolin temple was burnt in 1735 and monk Guangming escaped to Shandong and taught the system there.
